Up and Running

I spent 3 long days this week working on my first customer quilt in Norfolk. I used a combination of some computer motifs, ruler work and freehand quilting to make the quilt look close to the picture that the customer sent plus a bit “extra”.

It felt good to be quilting all day again but I really don’t have the stamina for it that I had when I was in the midst of creating the Quilted Yurt.

I finally got around to doing a social media post announcing that I have moved and that am looking for business. I plan to do more regular updates to get the word out.

I only have 4 collapsing cardboard boxes left to sort through in the garage but I cannot find most of the clothes that I vacuum packed so I need to unpack the many bags of textiles, sort them and re-vac them again.

My latest rabbit hole is researching 3D printers that all seem to be on Black Friday deals. I keep seeing cool things online that people are creating for their homes and sewing rooms. Luckily, I have convinced my sister that at least one of her boys is keen to try the hobby out so she has agreed that I can keep it there. I have not told her that it is the size of a small fridge;)
